Exterior Railings Project – Go Big Or Go Home
With existing concrete columns in place spaced 130” – 150” apart each one different as the case may be, both upper and lower deck of this 34,000 square foot home, spanning the entire back of the property, the request was to design iron railings to meet in between each column.
A job only for an artist and mathematician like Mark from our team of experts! With extreme attention to measurements (on only one visit), then off-site fabrication, Mark and the team returned with the flat bed of massive heavy iron rails for installation day. With heavy equipment in place to help lift the massive panels one by one and fit in place; everyone fitting with perfect precision with the exception of one that had meant grinding the partnering column to achieve the final fit. This project was not for the faint of heart. What was the final outcome? The on-site Super brought the homeowner to the back of the house near the end of the day in disbelief as to how much the team had accomplished in just one day!
Awestruck, the gentlemen both admired the work at 75% to complete with the balance completed on day two, understanding just how expansive any job on this massive property really is. He and the homeowner commented that any contractor team that comes to this massive property on day one spends most of the day just observing the colossal site and nothing gets done…swift, savvy, second to none…this is why it pays to work with a true artist, a true craftsman, a true expert.
